laker67 Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 Murdoc, I reported a few minutes ago that I was having trouble voting. Tried again and it's working now. I voted 314 times to make up for the other guys. {kidding} This limit increase could very well be the one most important thing that could push Taneycomo over the 30 pound barrier. To the person that catches that fish, let me offer my congrats in advance.

I have always felt that the next World record brown could very well come from Taneycomo. There are others who feel this way. It would be beneficial for the State and local tourism folks, Chambers of Commerce and others to get excited about a 24" change to promote the fact that record fish could be caught from the lake. laker67 Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 You are 100% correct Dano. It would be in their best interest to help promote this.

Maybe someone on this thread could contact anyone they might know associated with state tourism to see if they would want to get involved in this. Or maybe they are affiliated with the local C of C. Just a thought. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"

laker67 Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 Oh Sorry!! I guess I clicked on the wrong topic button. I was looking for that one topic that people were talking and caring about the future of Taneycomo. I'll keep looking.
Guest kevinkirk Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 What is the current world and state record for browns.? You have the water and the food in there to raise one for sure. How much fun would that be?
