Members trapperBR549
I am interested in this also. We are planning an overnight trip from Greer down, not sure yet where we will take out. Any information on water levels and fishing would be apprecitated. snap
River is up a little from week or so but coming down fast.....fish deep...in the shaded areas...brown rooster tails, maribou jigs (black and yellow), minnows, crawfish, shrimp, egg patterns, and corn will catch rainbows in this section.....keep your tip up and your boots off and you should have an enjoyable trip on this lower end. Members Delvis
Good advice Snap esp on the boots. He knows to keep his tip up...pretty much anyway. I am going to bring him a life vest. I am interested in this also. We are planning an overnight trip from Greer down, not sure yet where we will take out. jdmidwest
Was on that stretch 2 weeks ago on Labor Day weekend and had a blast. Crawdads were the feed that day. Fish were deep. I am sure the little rise did not hurt anything. With the river like it is, a float from Greer to Riverton would be an easy 2 day float. You should be able to cover it well and float thru pretty fast. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S.
