txspecks04
Anyone been down below the dam recently? What are the conditions like? I haven't been out there in a while, but my understanding is that the high water is beginning to recede and I am thinking about making a trip this coming weekend... Members hogtied
I waded a couple of weeks ago, and the water was just getting to the point where you could cross at the turnaround. I think after the rain last week it is not crossable although you could probably wade some by the old campground below the dam. Usually a good guide to use is the Tablerock lake level. Its usually safer to wade once the lake gets to about 916, it was around 919 this morning.
On The Fly 6
So would heading there tomorrow be a waste of time with the weather that we are about to get? Will they be generating early tomorrow morning?
