Leonard
A massive increase in flow last night... No I wasnt on the water, Last friday they open the gates, and it hit close to 12000 cfs... last night it hit just over 14000.Or is this another glich? Or just some heavy flow? I know we are looking at a crap load of rain this weekend.. Think they are getting ready for some heavy flow. Has anyone heard anything about this weekend? brittsnbirds
Leonard- Well if the old saying is correct "it rolls downhill" then hang on. We have had some sort of rain up here south of KCMO for the last couple days. This AM it is a toad strangler. They are calling for flood warnings in our low water areas. vanven
My wife and I are supposed to be in town late next week for some fishing. She mentioned that on Kansas City news this morning the Springfield area is predicted to get 6 to 12 inches of rain in the next week from Ike. It may not be until January before we see wadable conditions again. I will still be fishing this week, just maybe closer to the outlets than I like. -Jerod

Luke
The recommended level of generation is 110 mw without adding liquid oxygen (bottom of the linked page). I'm not sure if they are adding the liquid oxygen or not, but they are definitely doubling the generation at certain times. My guess is that they really want to get Tablerock back down, the memories from this spring are still pretty fresh. --Luke
Members fish
http://waterdata.usgs.gov/mo/nwis/rt The James is going down this morning and the white river holding steady. I watch this site to tell what is coming downstream and how fast the rivers are rising. Just put cursor on dots and click and you can tweak the charts to see what you want. Was VERY good during the last flooding. THe James River was running liek 40k ..unbelievable. Good luck down there. I will pray for all of you. Feel so bad for ppl who flooded and fixing up houses and now it might flood again. Wish I was there, I could help somehow. Keep posting as Ilove to watch this site for water levels. Get some pics too if they open up the gates again. I lost the video that was on some site showing water coming out of dam all ten gates open and waves slopping over the top of gates. that was a WHOA.....if you have that video. post it. kk KK - I do believe this is the video you are looking for.... laker67
Trust me.... Branson will be gone before me...LOL The regulation sign reads "no fishing above the existing lake level". If the lake level gets to the hatchery, does that mean we can fish the hatchery raceways?
Luke
The DO went from 3.5 at 12:00 to 4.4 at 1:00, everything else stayed about the same. I would guess this increase to be due to liquid oxygen being added. Where ever the DO came from, the fish should be a little happier. --Luke
