Rapalas And Braided Line

Has anyone had success with Braided Line and Rapalas in Upper Taneycomo or is the preference just green mono 6 or 8 lb test?

I use a medium action spin rod with 4/15 powerpro, and a 6' leader of 8lb flourocarbon for floating minnow baits, and suspending jerkbaits..I dont fish Taney, but it works everywhere else. Add the leader with back to back uni-knots. Cheers.
