gabe Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Fishing the White Nov 9-11th and haven't been there in two years after five years in a row. Can't wait to get on the river. Any input on what flys are working, areas, etc., would be great. Looking forward to the next fishing report posted. Thanks for your help.
Ham Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Fish are biting (the fish are always biting as long as the river isn't a big blown out mudhole). Odds are they are going to be runnning 6 units 24 hours a day. You'll need a boat to fish effectively. All the flies that worked 2 years ago will work now. SJW and egg patterns in the flow. Zebra midges, sow bugs, and scuds in slower areas. I hope you catch a ton. Keep an open mind about the Norfork. They may run a little less water there.
