Bill Babler Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Take the boat and units into Marina Repair Center in Springfield Mo. They are the Largest Factory Service Center for Lowrance in the Midwest. They also are the New Factory Service center for Hummingbird. They will have your units fixed in a flash, no pun intended and you will be ready to go. If you decide to replace the unit. They have Hummingbird or Lowrance new units to choise from. There price on new units is usually a bit higer than BP but all their units are current will all updates. BP units may be up to a year old before they are sold and for the most part anything you buy there you are taking your life in your own hands. You have seen what happens with repairs and complaints. Good Luck http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Dutch Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I'd call George at Marine Repair and explain the situation before I pulled a boat all the way to Springfield. The number is 417-833-9191.
Bill Babler Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 George retired. Have not seen him in there the last several times I've been there. His son Scott I believe is running the business now. You might be able to get an answer to your problems, over the phone. But, with all you have going on a rerig is prob. the answer. I got a nex 37C this Spring, and had them completely rewire my boat from stim-to-stern and it has been flawless. They are boat wiring experts, which has a ton to do with the operation of your electronics. You would have to call anyway to make an appointment, pretty good thought. You won't be sorry if you have them fix it, The unit will be correct. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
