duckydoty Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I took my fiance' to work this morning, which happens to be real close to Taney. After dropping her off I called the current generation number and the water was off again, so instead of turning left to head home, I turned right to head to Taney. 3 minutes later and I was in the parking lot. I fished the shallows on the north side of the point and big hole. Lots of fish were midging and rolling around for sow bugs and scuds. Started with stripping crackle backs. I was catching fish, but not as many as I felt I should have. I switched to a grey soft hackle size 14 and the catching got better. Had to cast with a soft touch or the fish would bolt. A couple of strips, a pause, a couple more strips and bang.....fish on! Great morning for fishing! Get out there and enjoy the warm weather while you can! duckydoty A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
