It is Christmas again and that means it is time for the 4th annual Christmas party here at Backcountry Outfitters! First and foremost we want to thank you for your continued support and wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy and safe New Year!

We are having a different format this year for the Christmas party; it will be an all day event starting at 8am and running until 6pm on Saturday December 13. We will have coffee and doughnuts, as well as fly tying demonstrations throughout the day.

The fly tying demonstrations will be provided by some of the local talent and will run all day. Come by and learn from Harvey Ragsdale, innovator for Pacific Fly Company, Randy Hanner, innovator for Solitude Fly Company and Ken Barnes, 2 time Fly Tier of the Year for Southwest Missouri Fly Fishers.

Plus we are going to have a Backcountry Outfitters Door Buster Sale, it will Start at 8am and run until we close. Discounts are for in stock items only.

Heck no! I'm gonna go duck hunting with my soon to be better half. If it were not a special draw hunt, I'd be there tying flies all day. No goose/duck poppers this year. Dang it man!

That will make a lot of people buy stocking stuffers, I'll bet that will be great for buisness.

And it is always good to watch Harvey tie flies, he ties some great looking bass and trout stuff.

I heard there were going to be a few items marked down as much as 40 or 50 percent, man what a deal.

I wonder if one of the 40% off items will be a sage rod or two ?

I could use a new sage rod if anybody wants to get me a new one for christmas, 9' 5wt would be just about right.
