DD'sMC Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 You guys are quacking me up!!!!! Duck hunting with duckydoty should be a BLAST! We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. The two best times to go fishing? When it is raining and when it is not.
jdmidwest Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Clockwise top left to right, Little Dennison Single Reed circa 80's Southern Ill hand carved single reed, loud and raspy. Primos High Roller for the whistlers and the Woodies. Buck's Canada Goose honker. Quack Head Quacker Stacker double reed acrylic for softer tones. I have others including a larger Dennison call, Snow goose and white front call, and a goose flute. Its kind of like shotguns, you can't have enough. Best method, shut up, be quiet, let the decoys work, and let the ducks land! Hunted last Monday and they are already call shy. duckydoty Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 The only time I like to call is to try and turn them once they have flown over. Once they start to turn, shut em up. I'm definately not a member of hwy 79 highballers club. A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
Danoinark Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Dano~ Hey! That's my favorite call....eh, "ducky"doty.... Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
taxidermist Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Have an old Olts, that works everytime. Also use a Olts 66 Goose call, I can out call m ost of the good callers with the Olts. Nothing sounds better than real wood!
Kayser Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 A teal whistle. Simple to use, with good results. But my favorite mallard call is a Duck Commander. Rob WARNING!! Comments to be interpreted at own risk. Time spent fishing is never wasted.
