wily Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 we're thinking about coming down tomorrow...the weather forecast looks good albeit a windy. my only concern with the wind is the ramp at cooper creek. the generation always makes launching and loading the boat pretty tricky...but coupling that with the wind is double trouble. it will only be me and my 6 year old. I'm used to launching a boat, so i guess i shouldn't worry. i just wish they would have built a current break for the ramp. anybody have any advice?? we'll fish between fall creek and monkey island. he'll be fishing with bait, and i'll fish a jig or midge and float. thanks
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted December 13, 2008 Root Admin Posted December 13, 2008 I don't think there's any wind in the forecast. Current should be minimal- even no current in the evening. I wouldn't sweat it. Nothing else come by the resort and see if any of the guys are around to help. I may be here- or possibly on the water.
wily Posted December 13, 2008 Author Posted December 13, 2008 thanks, we planned to stop by the shop for some supplies, so hopefully see ya then
Troy Gregg Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Wily, a trick if there is quite a bit of current is to angle the trailer down stream and load that way Troy Gregg
