TroutBum4wt Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Hopperdad, Michael is really a good source in terms of these things. If you live locally, I would really research this option. If you live in Arkansas, google Jeff Fultz. He's a well known bamboo rod maker and he repairs and refurbish vintage fly and spinning rods. He just finished some repairs on my 1950s era bamboo fly rod. Looking forward to fishing it. Good luck with bamboo rods. "Where There Are Trout, There's Hope" - John Gierach

I have seen alot of his work and it is unreal.. checkout his site www.grandtrods.com He also has a really nice selection of custom made Tonken Cane rods as well.. He reworks a ton of bambo rods each year. He can look at it and also tell you alot of information about your rods as well. Good Fishing Capt. Don House Capt.
