Hi guys. I've decided to make a trip up to the White tomorrow the 30th. It looks like they are generating a little where's the best wadeable fishing under the current generation and what are the hot flies right now? I'm from Fort Smith and have pretty much been shut out on my fly fishing this year due to the high water and saw this nice 60 degree weather and lower water and thought I had better take advantage of it.

Thanks for the help fellas.

Go to Rim Shoals Trout Dock and have Gary take you to some wadable water in the water taxi. It costs ten dollars for the round trip. Try scuds, sowbugs, Y2Ks, and olive woolly buggers. Good luck!

Water Taxi??? What a brilliant idea. It sure beats driving out the tides. What are his normal hours of operation or days of operation? Does he have a website with info?

I am planning on coming down later in Jan or Feb, that is a service I would really like to use.

I've never heard about the taxi- it is a great idea!!! I might even have to explore the idea.

John, you should have Gary email me- I'd love to promote his place here on OA. I've been in his shop but never introduced myself.

Thanks.

Looks like it is only good in the Catch and Release area around Rim Shoals. Plenty of good water. And they keep in contact with a radio.
