MrsDucky Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Some are still working on permission Come on DD'sMC, let him go! You went without him, remember? Just make sure he brings some ones if you're going to the Stripper's Club at the Brass Pole...or Rebar Hole... I don't like the weather report...it's fixing to get COLD! And windy...I know the fish are already wet, but are they also frozen? Have fun! I can bring home the trout...fry it up in a pan...and never let you forget I caught it! 'Cause I'm a woman!
soggyfeet Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 OK lets here the report so I know what I missed Brian
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 10, 2009 Root Admin Posted January 10, 2009 The fried crappie, whites and walleye sure were good!! Hope the fishing was better.
Micheal Kyle Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 My nice warm bed was nice especially with the cover over my head during the rain Strom. I'll be down tonight though, I got some Ostrich Eggs to try. To Know People Is To Know Thier Ways!
DD'sMC Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Duckydoty and I made the trek down to the Rebar Hole a little after 9pm, water was still dropping. I drifted eggs and caught a couple nice bows~one around 16", with a lot of fight. Had several LDR (long distance releases) immediately followed by a few choice words. Caught one small brown, about 12", below #2. All in all, it was a fun night of fishing. Maybe duckydoty will post his own report on here later... Then we were off to Lilley's Landing for a much needed weekend of R&R. I'm telling you guys, Phil Lilley and his family are very hospitable and Lilley's Landing is an extremely comfortable place to spend a few peaceful days. Needless to say, duckydoty and I didn't get in any more fishing over the weekend . Thanks again Phil for a great honeymoon weekend!!!!! Mrs. Duckydoty We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. The two best times to go fishing? When it is raining and when it is not.
