ollie Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I received the packet from the MDC this past Saturday in the mail. We are officially Stream Team # 3860. I will try and read all the material tonight when I get off work. Just didn't have time this weekend to do much of anything. I will report more later. Members MarkinKC Posted February 2, 2009 Members Posted February 2, 2009 That's great news. Was a name decided on? Hickory Creek Stream Team seems logical.
ollie Posted February 3, 2009 Author Posted February 3, 2009 And that is the name listed in their data base. "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
Members tgard27 Posted February 3, 2009 Members Posted February 3, 2009 That is great ollie. I know that thi will be time well spent and that our efforts will pay off. Great stuff, I can't explain how much this excites me. I know that I said I would go down to Hickory last thurs and take pictures but I caught a cold and couldn't make it. Looks like I'm heading down tomarrow, should be there by noon. If you see a red neon that is covered in dirt, it would be me. If anyone is interested in hooking up, pm me. I think that Hickory Creek Stream Team is a nice choice, simple and to the point. Ollie, I can't thank you enough for the help. Travis
Buzz Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Just wanted to let everyone know that I got my stream team packet from the MDC yesterday. I wondered if anyone else received thiers yet? Buzz If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
ollie Posted March 5, 2009 Author Posted March 5, 2009 Hopefully I signed up everyone correctly on the forms. I did do a presentation last night for the MAKO flyfishing group and had a lot of success and encouragement. I have given an official date for the first litter pick-up. April 11th. Now I have to get my butt in gear and contact more groups, business, and media. I have a lot of work to do before the 11th!
