I will give you a report by sunday.

Seth Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 McCords Bend is the first town up river from the Walnut Springs boat launch. Get on Google Earth and just search for McCords Bend.

Dutch Posted March 7, 2009 Author Posted March 7, 2009 If the dinks are there, then the big mommas aren't far behind.
Members OzarkKid07 Posted March 7, 2009 Members Posted March 7, 2009 hey guys around mid april me and my family are taking a trip to table rock and staying at hideaway resort. its on the lower james i was wondering if there are any good white bass fishing around there or like how far we would have to travel to target them? My family and me are going to be at hideaway the week of the 15th. But I guess we won't be catching any white, huh? Michael J. Coyote I caught several small whites as well near McCords and up, but I stated using a 2 inch grey grub, didnt set any new records or anything but the fish I caught after I made the lure change were around that pound and a half range. It wont be long.
Members BIG AL Posted March 11, 2009 Members Posted March 11, 2009 Did any of you guys fishing in the james last weekend graph any spoonbill. My fish finder wouldnt even turn on when I was down there. Thanks
rangerman Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 At least everyone is catching small whites, they must have had a good spawn last year. It has been awhile since we've seen that many small ones which will make it really good for the years to come.
