i have a question to everyone. i am looking to get a new sonar and possibly gps also for the front deck of my triton. does anyone have any suggestions? i have a SI unit mounted by the dash though the unit upfront doesnt have to be a humminbird. i want to really learn this year how to use my electronics better and also on table rock like how to drop shot and understand what your bait and fish are on the screen. any suggestions would help thanks.

I just got another 520c for my console. They work great for dropshotting. Try Reeds Sporting Goods in Mi. They have a great price. They are getting hard to find. 800-346-0019 Ask for fishing dept. or try online.

Thanks for the info, sounds like the 510 will do the trick since im mostly a warm weather boater.

And yeah sometimes my motorguide slips down in the mount and when I pull up the troller... it dont line up to the cradle and thats usually when it gets pinched! I need to find a way to keep it from slipping down in rough water. I was thinking of just using a hose clamp so the shaft can only slip so much. You would think the factory clamp would hold things in place but I guess not!

How do I deal with those who ignore the 50 yard encroachment rule?......I show them just how accurate I am with a crank bait! rtj4bb.gif
