Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 7, 2009 Root Admin Posted March 7, 2009 I'm in the process of creating a new site and forum. It will cover waters outside the Ozarks- waters that YOU, the OzarkAngler Member would be interested in. I need- #1 - names of lakes, river and streams you fish and would be interested in seeing on a forum. #2 - url's of sites you use now for those waters, if any. For example, I visited with a guests who fishes Carlyle Lake in Illinois for Sauger. I googled Carlyle and didn't find much information on the lake, especially current fishing information. I want to confine the area to MO, OK, KS, AR, IL right now. But I am open to other neighboring states in the future. Thanks
zander Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I do (rarely) go back to Oklahoma. The Places I fish there are Sooner Lake, Keystone, Kaw Lake tailwaters and Lake Carl Blackwell. Sometimes when I lived there I'd also fish the Arkansas River and the Cimmaron River. There aren't (or at least weren't) any sites other than the Oklahoma Fish and Game site for fishing reports.
Quillback Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Quite a few in NW AR, Bella Vista Lakes (I would be happy to post info there), Lake Fort Smith, Joe Kidd Lake, Weddington, SWEPCO, Leatherwood.

Middle Fork of the White~Washington & Madison Counties We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. The two best times to go fishing? When it is raining and when it is not.
edyer Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Anybody that is interested in any waters in Michigan can give me a shout. We are blessed with about any size water and fish species you would want to catch. The winters kind of suck though, unless you like ice fishing.
Chief Grey Bear Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Ever since I watched Grumpy Old Men, I have always wanted to ice fish. How fun it would be to have group of "cabins" out there. I always thought it would be great fun to have one big enough to have a few people over and watch the game or play cards while fishing! Maybe have a little cook stove for frying some fish and taters. I would never go home! Well, until you know, the ice started melting!
