Murdoc Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 The kids just need the park tag $2.00. You'll have a blast!!!! Smiles are free http://rdpflyrods.com/
wily Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 take them on a hike. there's the scenic overlook trail by the hatchery that is pretty cool. there's also another short one on the opposite side of the river -- straight across from the tag office -- where they can go inside a couple caves.
Members Grant Miller Posted March 26, 2009 Author Members Posted March 26, 2009 We fished last Wed. and Thur. Started up by the hatchery with the power eggs late on Wed with no luck. Went hiking and tried some more just up stream of Dry Hollow with no luck. The boys still enjoyed themselves. On Thur. we did some hiking first and then fished upstream of Dry Hollow with jigs on a bobber. Each of the boys got one and that made their trip! They are stoked for their next trip which is always good.... Thanks for the tips guys, I think I have some fishermen on my hands which is the best news that can come from this!
