Just got back. put in at A. Creek went towards the james water temp 49 to 51.3. Caught 15 with to keepers on the stick two LMs about 3 and a half had my fish by 10 am.

Sorry to jump in the thread but I figured I would post here instead of starting a new one. I hit the water today from 7:30 until 4pm and as you might expect with the warm temps and front coming in they bit pretty darn good. I caught 27 fish with 13 keepers including a couple in the 4lb range and several solid 3lb fish...mixed bag but mostly blacks. Water ranged from 47 to 54 degrees and I caught every fish on either a jerkbait or spinnerbait in less than 10 feet of water. I fished from Fisher Creek to Whites Branch for the most part but caught a few around Indian Point as well. I am sure the front will change some things but today sure was fun. Good luck to everyone fishing the FLW or Heartland down there this weekend.

Gabe iam using a smithwick rouge, supending blue back sliver side and orange belly. They have been eating it up since last Thr. When the sun is out. When it clouds up not as much.Been doing a twich twich stop and wham. thats when they would hit it . good luck. As i will wait till the BIG BOYS are gone,Then i"ll go after them again.
