As long as there is no flood I will be there. I'm mentally ready to go, my equipment however is not! I gotta get my crap together.

As far as the beer........I think I had to sign something when I bought my canoe that said I would never float without beer.

State law, look it up.

Looking forward to it guys.

Will there be beer? That is like asking will there be water to float on?

That sounds great. 8:30 at Lime Kiln is best. We can work out the rest of the logistics when everyone shows up.

BTW, great avatar CDC.

Thanks, got bored and played with Photoshop one night. Just finally got around to uploading it. I have used CDC as my forum name for a long time (my initials) and people kept asking me if I worked for the Center for Disease Control so i thought the bio hazard symbol was fitting. :)

I have been known to drink a few beers in my time. Don't generally do too much of it while floating anymore but I am definitely not against it.

LOL........I'll put it this way, my wife says I like beer toooooo much. I think Chief will have to speak for himself on this one.

As for the front of the canoe goes, I'm sure we can work something out. I'm sure you know when to pick up the paddle. ;) Other than all you have to do is enjoy the ride and catch some fish.

Buzz... how long of a paddle do you use? I weigh 487 pounds......................... Weather's sounding better! 50's are fine. I'll stay in touch with you guys and I'll set my Koolie Kup out so I don't forget it.

Uhhhhh about that weather thing. I am hearing rain, with snow mix and high of 46. We may want to start rethinking this.

I guess I might need a longer paddle.

I just saw the weather also. Like Chief said Saturday might be cold. Sunday is supposed to be 60.

I checked the creek today after the rain and it still looks as good as it did last week. I hope we don't get anymore major rain.

As far as it maybe being colder on Saturday, any suggestions, thoughts?????

If fishing was easy it would be called catching.

Chief... just saw a not so good report here too (for down there). Pretty big cold front moving in. Weather's gonna be worse up here. If it doesn't work out (or even if a few of you guys try it) I WILL be down there soon. Still gonna watch the weather though! Heck, even if I just snuck down there with a small group fishing, I still want to be involved in a "meet and greet" trip too with lots of people involved. You know the saying... good things happen to those who wait!

I just checked the weather report...then logged on here to see if everyone else had too..guess they have.

I say that if it is in the 40s and snowing that we postpone for another day. Weather looks good for Sunday but if it rains a lot on Friday and Saturday that may be shot too. Like i said though, this time of year you never can tell from one day to the next what the weather will be. If it even looks halfway decent I am all up for it...if for no other reason then just to float the creek and chat for a while with some fellow anglers. :)

I tend to agree. What is it they say? If you don't like the weather just wait a minute! Typical Missouri weather, 3 weeks great weather, but the one weekend you plan something it all goes out the window. If it doesn't work this weekend we will have to plan a summer trip. It doesn't matter if you get wet then. :D

If it does change for the better, you know where I'll be.

I am agreement that we postpone. There will be too many great weekends to endure this one.

I'll bet ya that if we just look a week or two away, we will see great weather.
