Brian Wise Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 I am a huge fan of both the CF and SA System X boxes. If it were me and I worked at BP and didn't want to jump straight into a CF I would try one of the new System X boxes. If you do get into CF don't buy the same color....I'm an idiot and got 2 black size m boxes one day...one for wet flies one for nymphs---I now have finger nail polish on them to tell them apart. Why those things are so expensive and you can't see into them is crazy to me. Brian My Youtube Channel
drew03cmc Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Hmm...rainy fishing...that works for me. I love fishing in the rain, and I use that Bug Luggage box without a problem. Also, I have a pair of the Orvis foam lightweight boxes that I have fished with in the rain and didn't have any issues either. If I need a watertight box, I will get the cheapest one I can find, and then pick up something else I need. I have gotten to only carrying one box with a variety of flies in it. Andy
tippett7 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 I would go with C F box. I love to fish in the rain. I fished this last Saturday and fell in Taneycomo. It was pretty darn cold. But all my flies were still in place and bone dry.
