getfished Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Hey Techo, How deep is the water where the Lowrider lies? I may have a solution for you. Do you still have my number? GETFISHED !!! http://www.tacklespecialty.com/
techo Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 It has been there a while (last year). I think it was 23 feet deep when we were there. If you come out of Aunt's Creek keep going straight toward the dock in front of you to the right of the swing. It is in the cove to the right. Last year the bass were up in the brush in that area. We had to stay out a bit from some trees and cast in. I kicked it overboard while trying to reel in a fish. I almost used profanity! We laugh about it now (when the wife isn't nearby). We have a great time fishing and can't wait to go again, but it seems like most of our spots have names related to some misfortune of the day! SO far we don't have one called that place where I set the hook in you. Who named Buzzard's Cove? Tim Carpenter

SRV1990 Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 There's a spot not far from Indian Point that my buddies call Quick Draw... guess it's not much a secret spot now that they let me in on it, huh? "You can always justify putting off a decision... but you can't put off the results of indecision."
techo Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Never tried a camera! I bet that would be a great way to learn the lake better too. Tim Carpenter
Members Chunk Rock Posted March 27, 2009 Members Posted March 27, 2009 Got a spot near Mill Creek boat ramp we call (Golgotha)..a house on the hillside resembles one large cross with two small crosses.
Hunter91 Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Surely everyone has at least one "honey hole" we also have cedar cove, goose island, shooting gallery, old duck hunting point, bream hole, walleye point, and big crappie cove.
