KCRIVERRAT Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Played lights out last night! Tiller and Carrol are the most hustling players I've seen in a long time. Another tough one against UCONN Sat., but if we continue to pressure... Big East teams don't see this style of play. Beat Memphis at what they thought they were great at! Hope we can get to the Final Four for the first time ever. If KU wins their next two and MIZZOU wins tomorrow, guess who plays each other in one semi-final? hoglaw Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 I'm a Mike Anderson fan. That game last night reminded me of the Razorbacks of yore. I'm fairly ambivalent about Mizzou for the most part, but I'm pulling for them to go all the way. I normally can't stand Oklahoma, but I'd like to see them do it as well. They sure looked good tonight. I'm an SEC fan by default. Since we don't feel the need to dominate yet another sport (this is a matter of choice of course), I'll pull for the Big XII in the NCAAT.
creek wader Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 The Sooners just rolled over Syracuse, a Big East team. Love it. I'm a NU fan. but root for the conference, especially now. Go Big 12, get 3 in the Elite 8. wader
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 28, 2009 Root Admin Posted March 28, 2009 Liked that last second, heave-ho, buzzer-beater shot from 70 feet!

Yep hoglaw... SEC rules in football (much to my dismay!) HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
KCRIVERRAT Posted March 28, 2009 Author Posted March 28, 2009 Liked that last second, heave-ho, buzzer-beater shot from 70 feet! Marcus Denmon from Hogan Prep here in K.C. Watched him the last couple of years after he orally commited to MU. HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
Kyle Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 That shot at half time was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. It never seems to happen for the teams I root for, but they sure looked good last night. I really think that they can beat UCON tomorrow. The Tigers beind in the tourney for this long has sure made it a lot more interestring. Also, it might help to keep Mike Anderson arround for awile, they really seem to think Alabama is gonna go after him. Would be a shame to loose him.
Chief Grey Bear Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Isn't Arkansas in the SEC? Didn't Mizzou take them out behind the woodshed a couple of years ago and give them a good spanking? I think some other SEC teams fell to Big XII teams that year too. I can't remember for sure though. Article in the KC Star this morning said Mizzou will be re-negotiating his contract after the season. Right now he makes $850,000 per year. Quin Snyder (the dumb@%*) made 1.2 million his first year here. Look for Anderson to make at least a little closer to what our football coach, Pinkle, makes a year. Are ya ready for this? 2.3 million a year! HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
Quillback Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Yeah they better pay that guy some more money, Kentucky now has an opening, but so far Anderson's name hasn't been mentioned in any of the "Who will be the next coach" rumors.
