duckydoty Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Been fishing the James for a week now and doing real good. Curiosity got the best of DD'sMC and I last night though. We decided to go over to Swan and Beaver to see what is happening over there. Swan-------Notta! Beaver, we caught quite a few dink males just above the Tin Whistles on grey and white clousers. Definately not very crowded over there. Lots of people had stringers with the dinks on them. One or two more days and it should be good over there. So, if the crowds at the James have got you down....head on over to Beaver because it is sure to happen there soon! A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 18, 2009 Root Admin Posted April 18, 2009 The sows I cleaned last night seemed to be spawning- their eggs were running out of the sack. Caught them main lake- exactly where we caught them 3-4 weeks ago. I think you're right- after this rain they should head up the creeks and spawn- quickly.
