Members Russ of VOWT Posted June 7, 2009 Members Posted June 7, 2009 Steve Earle, my guess is that the hybrid is the replica. the fins to me are what make it look that way. Your bass in the pics it appears to be "repairs" in the fins and the hybrid doesnt have them. If i am wrong i am wrong LOL but thats my guess LOL I agree the paint job is what makes the fish, and i see far more out there than dont cut it than do. I have strived for the past 5 years to take my fish to a new level, and i just recently feel like i have done this. I will continue to strive for excellence thru competition and seminars to provide my customers with the best fish for their money, whether it be skin mount or replica. I used to be against replicas, and i really dont know why, i guess the majority of it was customers who wanted "their" fish rather than a peice of "plastic" as they put it. I personally like the replicas because there is NO chance of bugs ever growing inside or attacking the replica as opposed to the skin mount. Replicas will have perfect fin symetry as opposed to allmost all skin mounts will have some type of fin repair. Anyhow those are just some of my reasons for liking them now adays LOL Steveearle, let us know what is what.
