Flippin Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I pulled the boat down to Bull Shoals this past weekend to visit family and did a little morning fishing Sunday/Monday. I caught 3 Walleye and 4 bass and a few short bass. The biggest thrill for me was being able to take my dad out and put him on some fish. I did not realize Bull Shoals had so many good Walleye. I was fishing around the dam with topwater and spinnerbaits.
taxidermist Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Walleye are pretty hot right now. we have done really well the past two weeks on the lower end. plus lots of shorts, lots of shorts!! A crawdad crank bait has worked well above the brush.

taxidermist Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 We have been using the Fairview Game and Fish ramp, about five miles out of Flippin on 178.

Members thunderbutt Posted June 2, 2009 Members Posted June 2, 2009 the Oakland ramp should be good any water level it's a sloping think you could launch from 1/2 way up the parking lot if water is very high. i live one mole from the dam launch and less than 1/2 mile from bull shoals boat dock free ramp. now i need to get my boat water ready needs new floor.
