I am looking for a piece of water that has some shallow flats to fly fish by sight for carp. Fellows is brim full and could find no shallows Sat. Anyone know of a lake or stream that has such water now even with all the rain. What does Swan look like by the park?

I was in Swan on Sunday, the water is still high, but there were soooooooooo many carp up in the flood brush, it was rediculous! Saw guys bowfishing them and I saw probably over 30 that were at theast 15 pounds and a couple absolute monsters!! They didn't seem to be at all spooked by my boat banging around in the brush either, I would definately give it a try! Considering the water level, it was still very clear up in the shallows!!! I hope that helps!

A fool with a plan is always better than a genius with NO PLAN!!!!

The upper Gravois and upper Little Gravois arm of Lake Ozark are ate up with huge carp, and it blows my mind that nobody is up here tearing them up, not even the bowfishers. I wouldn't be wading it though...until they locate "Wally" (a 5ft. Alligator that recently came up missing in that area)

If carp are up in the shoreline weeds, they are spawning and more than likely will not hit anything.
