A friend of mine told me about this new resort east of Joplin off of I-44, so I checked it out. The website touts it as S.W. Missouri's new premier trout fishing destination. You be the judge. Don't forget to check out the pricing. I'd be interested in your thoughts on this.

If fishing was easy it would be called catching.

Good grief that's expensive all around.

I am just not a big fan of pay for play fishing spots stocked by the owners.

Camping is out of site and cabin rentals are way out of line as far as I am concerned.

It sure is a pretty place and the creek looks nice, but I bet I could have as much fun at the NF of the White, Crane, RR or one of the wild trout destinations in Mo .

You've got to be kidding me...are these people for real?

There's no way in heck I'd ever pay that kind of money for a place like that. That's ridiculous. $120 A NIGHT FOR CAMPING! You could go fish somewhere in the Rockies for a couple of days with a guide and a place to stay cheaper than that I would bet!

That's just...wow...I'm speechless...

I mean...is this for real?!

I echo all the other comments - WOW! They must be really proud of their place. I hope they do well, but it's not for me. I'll take my money and spend it in one of the fly shops near Taney, RR, Bennett, etc.

Sometimes you just have to set back and grin. When I want to catch stockers, I head to Roaring River or Braver. That place wont be around for long with $120 tent fees.

See place like that are for the people from the big cities that have never seen a trout before... or dirt. And the sad part is that people will pay to go there and think its cheap, compared to where they live.
