Members Bad cast Posted July 13, 2009 Members Posted July 13, 2009 I'm heading down Friday to Lilley's and for the first bringing the boat. I usually flyfish below the dam but will have inlaws and wife in the boat. What jigs do I need to tie up, color, size. What is the most simple way for them to catch fish. I usually C&R most fish. Any help wold be great. Thanks Randy
tippett7 Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I like sculpin and brown colors and a ginger and sculpin color is good to.
Terry Beeson Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 White, pink, yellow maribou jigs if you're spin fishing... Small... like 1/64th or smaller... Drift under an indicator... I mean bobber... We have been doing really well by boat with sculpin, ginger, green and black and olive jigs. By boat the magic number is 4 & 1/2 foot of 2 lb flurocarbon vanish under your indicator.
