Anybody heard of a night bite on the LOZ after dark? I know the last 2 hrs of daylight are killer but after that don't know, any reports?

I haven't been out on the lake personally, but from what I'm hearing everyone (even the catfishermen) are doing better mornings & evenings.

The dark-of-night bite, at least on the Gravois and mid-upper Osage, is kinda slow I think.

Check out bass world sports results from last weekend. (www.bwsta.com)Took twenty pounds to get a top five. The bite is crazy good right now, my brother took 4th with 20.64. Big black baits crushed them on the shallow ledges with deep water right there.

I will go and try again this weekend! When you say shallow are talking less than 10 ft? I must have had my hat on wrong because I threw a worm for 7 hrs and nothing! I must need to use black with black flake!

Yeah im talking like five foot, he said the boat was in about 25 - 30 ft all night , caught alot from behind docks on those ledge banks. The bite for him was around the 25 mile marker though. Not in the Gravios. He was throwing a 10 in black power worm all night. His buddy was fishing june bug and had half the bites plus no big ones.

We went Wed morning about 5:30am @ Larry Gale Access. Very very slow. I was using a spinnerbait and lunker lure around docks, brush and points, and he was wormin. We caught around 10-15 small ones. No pattern. About 10 minutes before take out, I caught 1 keeper hittin shad, with spinner bait.
