Members gary2400 Posted July 28, 2009 Members Posted July 28, 2009 I was down at KOA and thought somebody tried to spotlight me for a second from the old campground. It was blueish and bright just for an instant. It didn't help the fishing AT ALL. Maybe they beamed up all the fish.
Danoinark Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Any of you guys have a sore butt Sunday morning?  Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
Bill B. Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 The ISS and shuttle went over at about 9:38 p.m. They took about two minutes to pass from the northwest horizon into the Earth's shadow in the southeast, so I don't think that's what you are describing. A bright flash that lit up the ground--sounds like a meteor to me.
laker67 Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 I saw it as well, except I was 125 miles north of Branson, near Truman Lake. I was on 7 hwy near Tightwad, Mo. It was traveling from east to west.

Definitely not going to light up the ground.
