snagged in outlet 3 Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Nice report!! I'm with you on the bad karma. I was sitting in my truck in a parking lot when a guy going by clipped my rear bumper. He never stopped or even blinked. I couldn't get out of my spot fast enough to go his way and he just drove off. Very lame! SIO3

Ranger Z22 Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 I was also at the Aunts Creek Ramp Saturday around noon. Was so bad, we put the boat in the water and my wife took the truck and trailer home, and we met at the neighbors boat dock. People very inconsiderate, and I am not sure they know any better. Cars, trucks, trailers parked everywhere in every direction. This was worse than the 4th of July weekend. I did fish early Saturday and was pleasantly surprised with the old B&P Jig. Fish were shallower than I thought. Ran up the James and saw whites schooling at 2 in the afternoon, great fun. Z22
MstStudent10 Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 People are idiots lets just put it at that. At Table Rock on Sunday and was drop shotting the bluffs outside the Chateau marina by the dam. Using the wind to drift down the bank while drop shotting and then motoring back up and doing it again. Had one jet ski come within 40 yards of me twice! When they have the whole lake i just don't understand that. And then to make it worse I motored back up to the point to start my drift again and the Ski shot towards the bluff wall, came within 20 feet of the shore and did a donut! Right over the spot where I had just pulled two nice keeper Kentucks! Then him and his wife proceeded to drive up to the boat and Holler "Looks like your having a good day there!" as I was pulling in another short Kentuck. I was so on fire all I could do is yell back "It'd be a he** of a lot better if people weren't driving over the timber I was fishing!" as I proceeded to shoot him the bird. I think he got the picture and finally took off. Needless to say that spot was shot, but it wasn't too bad on account pulled in 2 more keeper bass on the very next dock I decided to go to. Heard the lyrics to a song recently..."been around the world and found that only stupid people are breeding..." Thats about right... Set the hook first, ask questions later...
