eric1978 Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Just started watching some of Ken Burns' new documentary on America's National Parks tonight. It's really cool stuff and thought some of you guys might enjoy it. It's on PBS and I believe it's something like 12 hours long in 6 or so installments. Not sure about the schedule. DVR takes care of recording for me.
Wheatenheimer Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Yep, caught a little bit of it tonight. Got the DVR set up for the rest of the week! Anything Ken Burns, is worth watching. I love his Doc, many years ago, on Lewis and Clark!
ness Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Crap! Did I miss the first installment? That snuck up on me. Gotta catch the rest -- it's always good stuff when Burns does it, and that one is close to the heart. John
eric1978 Posted September 28, 2009 Author Posted September 28, 2009 I actually wound up buying the Civil War one, and probably lost about two weeks of my life watching it over and over.
eric1978 Posted September 30, 2009 Author Posted September 30, 2009 I wonder if the fishing was any good back in the 1850s?
