Members norforkwannabe Posted October 2, 2009 Members Posted October 2, 2009 I'm coming to Norfork for a little over a week starting Oct 16 and was wondering which section of the lake may be offering the best bit. Any advice would be appreciated. We'll be staying in the Hand Cove area and in the past have primarily fished in the Big Creek\South Brushy area with mixed results.
Larry Richards Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 I would be looking up the creeks and on the flats.Look for bait fish that is the key to the fall fishing on Norfork for me
Ham Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Good Luck and PLEASE LET US KNOW HOW YOU DO. I think there are always some fish on the bluffs. I also think you could do some good up lake from Henderson on Whites and Stripers. I tend to fish out of Cranfield here lately. Not a bad area to fish. Members norforkwannabe Posted October 3, 2009 Author Members Posted October 3, 2009 Thanks for the info. I have fished the cranfield/pigeon creek area before. Had some luck on whites and crappies there. I've seen so many baitfish sometimes it seems like the only thing chasing them is me. We take a fall and spring trip to Norfork and I just love it there. I hope I can move there when I retire.. I will let you know how it goes. I might even post while I'm there--Thanks again
