Bman,

It appears that fish needs a Botox injection in its upper lip. LOL

Nice Fish. So what were you running as your dropper fly? And what line weight were you using 6x?

According to Caroline Parker at River Run, that's due to the mixing of the genetic strains at the hatchery. I caught one that I'd swear was a cuttbow...Complete with the red slashes under the gills.

Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to

watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly

know everything there is to be known.

I agree completely Indiana...No matter how hard the hatchery systems try to keep the species of fish, genetic strains, etc. pure there is no way they can keep there different genetic strains from getting contaminated especially during periods of high water and employees that just quite frankly don't give a hoot.

As long as the paycheck keeps coming there are few employees that could care less one way or another.

It's beyond me why we think we have to or even have the knowledge to interveen on good ole 'Mother Nature'.

Every time we make an attempt to control her she lashes back and reminds us who is really in control. We as humans are probably IMO one of the least aware species on the face of this earth concerning nature itself and the world around us...the only advantage that we are gifted with above all the other of Gods creatures with is a thought process and the power of reasoning.

Can't help to wonder where it's got us...we have and are destroying at an alarming rate the very things that support our existence...makes little since to me but seems to be such a crazy world these days not much does make since to this simple old country boy.
