eric1978 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Photos taken today. This may be a tough one. Here's a hint: Al has to sit this one out because he was here not too long ago. For the rest of you, don't cheat if you know some other way where I was. They're not the greatest pictures now that I've seen them blown up. Oh well.
joeD Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Picture number 2 is Fishing Spring on the Meramec and number 1 is again the Meramec, I think below Riverview Access or just above it.

Should have figured you'd chime right in. You shouldn't get to play if you've floated the stretch in question more than ten thousand times. Skip told me about you. But you're right, on both accounts. Well done.
joeD Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Skip told you about me? Ruh roh. That doesn't sound good.

cwc87 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Joe is definitley right about fishing springs. The other picture is two riffles below riverside access. Us locals call is the salas hole and the unjet boatalbe rifle above where the picture was snapped is the salas rifle. By the way, the reason you guys have caught so many fish in this area is because a few hundred smallies and largmouth have been release at hwy 19 after an annual bass tournament in the spring. No help from mdc to spead them out better!

They must have been hiding from me on Tuesday, because it was slim pickins.
