Members trotlining master14 Posted June 5, 2006 Members Posted June 5, 2006 Even though the season is over now my brother and I limited out. I am 14 and he is 16 years old. 2nd day of youth season I called in a bird and shot it. It had a 10.5in beard, 1 1/2in spurs, and weighed in at 22lbs. Opening day my brother went out and called him in a bird that had 11in and a 5.5in beards, had 1in spurs, and weighed 20lbs. Then we both went out the 1st day of the 2nd week and I called in 3 birds and we shot 2 out of that group. The one that I shot weiged in at 25lbs, 10.5in beard, and had 1in spurs. The one that my brother shot had a 10.5in beard, 1in spurs, and weighed 19lbs. I guess that I can say that we had a pretty good season. We killed them all on the same power-line and near the same spot.
