For those who haven't heard, our own Jeremy Rasnick won the co-angler division of last weekend's BFL Regional tournament on DeGray Lake near Hot Springs, Ark. Jeremy survived some tough fishing conditions on a stingy lake to land 14 pounds, 10 ounces over three days and won a Ranger boat plus a trip to next spring's BFL All-American tournament, also to be held on DeGray Lake. At the All-American, Jeremy will fish for a top prize of $50,000.

I was paired with Jeremy last spring in a BFL tournament on Table Rock and can personally attest that he is not only a skilled angler, but also one heckuva nice guy. I truly enjoyed my day in the boat with him. Good luck to him in the All-American!

Way to go Jeremy!

"Success builds confidence, and you have to learn to trust your instincts and forget about fishing the way a tournament is supposed

to be won. I'm going to fish my style and make it work for me." -KEVIN VANDAM

"Confidence is the best lure in your tackle box." -GERALD SWINDLE

"A-Rig? Thanks, but no thanks. If I can't catch them on the conventional tackle that I already use, then I guess I just can't catch them." -LK (WHACK'EM)

Jeremy - I ran into you a couple of years ago at Cricket Creek, and we talked fishing. Also, I've always enjoyed your posts here. Congratulations, and good luck!

I really appriciate the compliments. It was truely meant to be. I give the credit to my boaters that I was fortunate to draw. Day 1 was a total bomb with only 1 fish. My day 2 partner had only caught one keeper on day one and we told ourselves we were just there to have a good time on day to and "just fish" he was willing to take advise that I had and with that being said we stumbled onto a point that had some good fish on it. It was the only point on that lake that half way resembled Table Rock :D. I proudly walked across the stage with OZARKANGLERS.COM stitched across the back of my shirt. I'd recommend the BFL to anybody......If a blind hog like me can find a nut anybody can. Now to figure out how to pay for the Taxes on that dude. I'm heading to R&H Marine in the morning after I bow hunt to try and pick out my colors. I've never owned a glass boat, so this will be quite a treat. I'll be selling my 98 G3 if anybody is interested shoot me a PM, and i'll send pics and post on BUY SELL TRADE

Thanks to all,

PS: Fishing with Champ188 was a great learning experience, he is the best in the business when it comes to chucking a blade.....a pleasure to fish behind.
