So, after the latest kerfluffle with Larry Johnson - I find myself hoping that he is suspended and released immediately.

Sad to say, it's not completely because of the embarrassment he has become (on the field and off) - but instead it is because he is only 75 yards away from becoming KC's all-time rushing leader. KC fans were spoiled for years with some phenomenal, class-act running backs. It was hard for me to adjust to LJ after Okoye, Marcus Allen, and Priest Holmes. I have a hard time even having LJ mentioned in the same sentence, much less on top of the pack.

Yes, it is petty. Yes, he would probably be worth every penny he is being paid if he had an O-line like the Hogs he started with. But I'm just ready for him to be gone.

I still don't buy the he would be better if they had an o-line theory, but I do wish he was gone. I wish he would have been gone a long time ago instead of everybody kissing his butt to stay. What happened to the days when he would hit the line with no visible hole to run through, then he was somehow just pop out the other side? Or would bounce to the outside and be gone? Now he just runs in there and falls down.

I don't think I have ever seen a bigger loser in the NFL. I just wish they would have traded him while he had some value.

I suspect he's a goner, and good riddance. He's in trouble again and I would imagine that if the Chiefs can get away from him without spending millions they will.

Charles is running behind the same line and doing a lot better. Granted Charles isn't seeing they ball as often, but there is still a bigger difference than I would expect.

I don't know where Battle is, but I always thought he had potential also.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

LJ is a loser. I rolled on the floor laughing at his apology about the reporter comments. He is only sorry he got into trouble. What a zero. I know alot of folks who have given up season tickets because of this kind of crap.

Ain't gonna miss him myself. The two years he rushed for over 1,700 yards were the product of a great offensive line as far as I'm concerned. He is (or maybe was) a back who needed a nice hole opened up in front of him, thus enabling him to get those 10 to 20 yard gains carrying SOME linebackers, and MOST defensive backs the extra yards he gained.

L.J. never had his head on straight. He is a "ME FIRST" person. I'm really not blaming him for his problems... the guy needs professional help with some mental issues. If he had been anything close to being a stand-up guy during his tenure here in K.C., such as helping out more in the community and being a positive role model instead of spitting on or slapping women, he could have left a really positive mark for himself here.

End the end, I hope that number one... I hope he can find some way to get some stability in his life. Number two... I believe he'll find the right situation with another club, if not for just a year or two. AND number three... I sure as heck don't like the way Pioli and Haley treat their players. I do not see the Chiefs improving with these two guys at the helm.

Hope I'm wrong...

Good riddance. Looks like he put his diaper back on after Vermeil left. You and I could have run the ball behind hall of famer pro bowlers like Will Shields and Willy Roaf.

The same story every year of preseason, new LJ with a new attitude, then repeat. Some teams are already looking at him like Seattle and Pittsburgh. He might have to beat up on a few women again between KC and wherever he goes.

Steven Jackson of STL is a better example of a RB. On a poor team but he suits up and does his best every weekend.

The new Chiefs regime has proven that they will not put up with any LJ's again. Too bad they still have to pay the guy.

I caught you a delicious bass.

With Smith returning and Savage showing a lot of promise I don't think he'll be missed. It could even improve the team overall.

Jamaal Charles is only going to get better over the next couple of years. It's too bad they won't let Haley go after only a year. He is garbage imo.
