Spinnaker Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 I am coming down Sunday through Next Friday and can only hope I can catch some bass. I want to try the watermelon wiggle wart but I may have to resort to the old jig and trailer. It is supposed to be sunny next week so that will not be ideal for fishing. The water level was coming down to just over 916 and now it has moved up over 918. All considered, I am not going to complain about a fishing trip!
redbud Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 should be a real nice day for a boat ride. With the smaller crowds you can get to a spot during the day that may not have been fished for a few days .I have caught some of my biggest fish this time of year. Shad pattern cranks in the trees near deeper water, crawdad in the backs of coves shallow. Tandem willow leaf spinners if its windy and dark sky. Slow down if its bright and sunny 3/4 oz pbj still good on gravel points.,Good luck ,let us know how you do
