Quillback Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Anybody been down around Hickory creek? Monte Ne area? Just curious what the visibility is water wise.
Quillback Posted October 30, 2009 Author Posted October 30, 2009 Also, anybody been up the river arms?
sfiser Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 After that big rain last night, anything from up river from Monte Ne is going to be chocolate milk. Lake is up a almost a foot since 2 days ago and still rising.

Quillback Posted October 30, 2009 Author Posted October 30, 2009 Thanks guys, it saves me from making a wasted trip down that way. I might have to swing over to Grand Lake this weekend.
dtrs5kprs Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Anyone have a guess at the current water management strategy? Are we in "let's fill Beaver all the way up so if it rains or we get snow we can absloutely panic, open the gates, and flood T-Rock, thus leading to flooding out Taneycomo, then Bull" mode? Seems kind of jacked up for fall. Know we have had crazy rain throughout the watershed, but also seems like that might have been planned for a little earlier.
jeb Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I agree. November is supposedly the wettest month around here. Doesn't sound like a good time to have Beaver way over full. John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha
bobber Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 lake report...... the war eagle arm isn't as dis-colored as the lake is , saw some surface activity yesterday morning at first light.. nothing this morning ! but the wind had picked up. and as i passed blue spring the calm waters had more surface action . and right now there is a guide boat in the war eagle but the wind is still blowing .... that's whats going on this end <*)))))))>< * AMERICAN CANOE ASSOCIATION CERTIFIED CANOE, and SWIFT WATER RESCUE INSTRUCTOR.*
