To complete the first stage of his right of passage into manhood he would have to stalk and catch the ever elusive Gecko and use it to catch a trout. The Elder said there a was caveman nearby that would be willing to help. Hiawatha set off toe look for the Caveman thinking if it was so easy...

Gecko says he is no good for trout and recommends scuplins to the trout gods.

Little Hiawatha found his way back to the canoe, though uninsured it was, and started out on his adventure to find the elusive sculpin lure section of the local Bass Pro Wigwam. As his little canoe rounded the bend and the wigwam came into view little Hiawatha breathed a sigh of relief and smile the smile of a fisherman.

And he said "To whom am I speaking?!? Answer me forthwith, or I shall smite thee with words of high intellect, grammatically sound and powerful!!!!"

But little Hiawatha only shrugged and smiled as he floated past, for the Grammar Nazi was all bluster and little substance, standing there in the river flailing his willow stick to and fro...

So Hiawatha turns his paddle through the crystal blue river one last time and beaches the bruised and battered canoe near the bait shop, in search of the sculpin that would complete the first stage of his right of passage into manhood...

All this talk of Fairies reminds me of the post about the individuals backing into the parking lot at Taney..... Keep this up and you will be too limp wrist'd to cast a fly rod this season.
