Guest csfishinfool Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Went to Table Rock today with my dad. We put in at Baxter Boat Dock .Water temp as 61-62 degrees. Lake is 3.5 feet high. Had six keepers.First fish came on a jig out of a bush, about three. The second on a Crankbait, About three. Third fish came on a Jig again out of a bush. Fourth fish was on a crankbait, kinda off the old bank, about three once again. Fifth fish was on a jig out of a bush smallest keeper of the day was 16 inches probably about 2.7. Last fish was on a jig it was a Table Rock pig. Was over five pushing six.(will post pic if i can figure out how to get it off my phone) Once again came out of a bush. Funny thing is my dad, AKA CHARLIE MOORE blanked hes been sore about it since we got back. He is usually right there stick'em with me, the bite was really light and the guy with the first shot seemed to be the most productive. No spinner bait fish or topwater. Shade seemed to help the bite also. We figured the best five fish went somewhere around 17 to 18 pounds. I thought I would post and brighten up the reports on The Rock. Seems its been tough, went last week to the darn area and caught three fish all day... What a diffrence a change in area can make. Plus anytime you get to use 20lb lineand a flippin stick on Table Rock it is amazing. All the fish were juiced up. We seen some spit up half digested blugill floatin around, seems there feeding on them pretty good. Every fish was fat, and the big one was a super healthy fat fish.
