rps Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 Yes, canvas. I believe it was called pinion or something like that. It was yellowish brown and shellacked like the fabric biplanes. I was five or six. By the time I was ten, Dad had a fiberglass tiller steer.
Leonard Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 For me.. you could say I was born on the banks of Lake Taneycomo... Im a Branson (full blooded Native).... Born at Skaggs 1973 You can try to think back as far back as you can remember but the truth of it is.. My grandma had picture of us back in the middle 70 (I was probably 2 maybe 3) standing on the old downtown island below the bridge.... so this is for all you ol'timers.... I guess you could say I been fishing taneycomo for over 30+ year..... AND... IM NOT EVEN OLD YET!!! http://www.taneycomonights.com
ozark trout fisher Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 The Yampa River in Colorado would be the water I've fished longest. I fished it my whole life until I moved out here. I haven't been back there in a couple years though, so I'm not sure if that counts.

Wayne SW/MO Posted November 10, 2009 Author Posted November 10, 2009 Used a green box Lowrance I had one of those. Like most, I didn't use it that much to find structure, but to find fish, fish that wouldn't bite! I also remember a canvas boat that came in a kit, but can't remember the name. laker, I can't be old, my mother's old. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
