back2roots Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Great report Phil! You're better at it than than you think. Terry has a good idea. There are a number of companies, that we get, that carry USB microphones along with simple recording software. It would be easy to shoot your videos, load them into your computer and then add the narration later....pretty inexpensive too. Just a thought. Blessings! Bill If you liked the sound....Thank the engineer!
Flysmallie Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 I think your video reports are great. I like the option that Terry and Bill are talking about. But it's also good to hear your on the video out if the field too. What fishing show was it where it was just video and the guy sat there and narrated it. It was neat but it would also have been nice to here some audio from the boat. Maybe mix it up a bit. There are some really cool video editing programs out there. I bought one to do a video for my daughters volley ball banquet and was amazed at what you can do with it. Not saying you need to change anything because your videos are really cool. Are you still using that Flip? Bill, how much does a USB setup cost?
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 24, 2009 Author Root Admin Posted November 24, 2009 Still using flip... it makes the process easy and fast which I'm all about that!! I have to sit at this monitor way too much as it is. Working on 2010 rates sheet today.
back2roots Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Samson makes the C03U w/software at $199.00: http://www.proaudio.com/product_info.php?c...roducts_id=4328 If you have software and just need a step-up mic. Audio-Technica has the AT2020USB for $149.00: http://www.proaudio.com/product_info.php?c...roducts_id=5788 Not too pricy. Bill If you liked the sound....Thank the engineer!
