timsfly Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 I'm always looking for a good pair of wading socks, and I have found the best that I've seen for several years. I was in Dynamic earth over on Republic road, just west of national, right beside Mama Jeans, I found the best socks for a decent price, they are snowboarder socks they have extra thickness in the heels and toes and they are warm one of the best things I like about them is I've been wearing them all day and they haven't slipped down, they are over the calf socks. They only cost 23.95 and thats not bad for these socks, so if you need a new pair and your over that way stop in and check them out, I'm going to ask for a few more pair for christmas. Terry Beeson Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Great stocking stuffers!! TIGHT LINES, YA'LL "There he stands, draped in more equipment than a telephone lineman, trying to outwit an organism with a brain no bigger than a breadcrumb, and getting licked in the process." - Paul O’Neil
Bman Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Is there a brand name Tim? My thought exactly. We should be able to get them at the Alpine Shop in Kirkwood. Maybe pick up a snowboard while we're at it. The only good line is a tight line

Members Troutgod1 Posted December 1, 2009 Members Posted December 1, 2009 Are these the socks you were talking about ? They are very nice, I bought a pair last friday and have wore them all weekend, very warm and they don't slip down around my ankles like some of my socks do, next time I'm in Springfield I'll buy another pair.
