adjust555 Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Nothing like wind and stockton. it was tough to fight today. Did manage to catch a few nice keepers on minnows. Was to windy to use jigs. they were in 25 to 35 fow and 5 ft off bottom. Hope it isn't as windy for our first tourney of the winter next sunday. All who would like to come out and have some fun are welcom. it takes out of stste park marina at 9am 12/6. Vince
Dutch Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 They do move around don't they. Just the other day they were in 35-40 feet or water right smack dab on the bottom.
Stockton Lake Guide Service Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 they have to move around because I ain't caught a crappie in water over 25' since late summer. You people must be down by that big rock wall on the north end of the lake. that's where the deep fish hang out, at least what i hear. OK does down around Rouark mean that you are up in the river? I am fishing main lake all over the place. Sometimes points sometimes bluffs sometimes pocket coves.
adjust555 Posted December 1, 2009 Author Posted December 1, 2009 I fish the lttle sac around cedar ridge, from State park to aldridge. They do move in and out. Pick a main lake point with structure and fish differebt depths. I usually will see fish on my scope unless they are right on the bottom. Hope that helps. I imagine the sac side can not be that different. Vince
