2010 Trip, Where To Go?

A buddy and I are thinking about heading south to either Taney or the White after the first of the year to do a little winter fly fishing. We will either be bringing my Travel Trailer or his Class A motor home. Neither one of us have been to either place but have heard plenty of good things about both. We have 2 basic questions.

1. Which location will be the best?

2. When?

Any suggestions?

Why not do both? They are only 2 hours or less apart.

1) Both are good but the White has more area to fish.

2) Wait until the lakes are down to power pool so your chances for wading are better.

Both locations have very good campgrounds so no problem there.
