shaker Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Been waiting for someone to reply on this, I fish up and down the area some by boat and don't think that there is much access if any from the bank in the area that you are asking about You could fish from the bank along Drake Harbor and I have see a few people fish from the bank south of Drake Harbor where the river makes a sharp bend back to the East There use to be a road cross the river there years ago probably before LOZ was built, its a great spot a big eddy forms there when the Corps is running water. It would probably involve a walk of a 1/4 to 1/2 mile? Good Luck!

Seth Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Oneshot, I snagged at the Roadhouse which is right below the 65 bridge. You can pay $5 for the day and snag off there dock. I'm not sure if they are still open though as that was a few years ago when I went and it was for sale at the time.
